Glass Spin

The glass wall pushed, then swallowed me.

That brief, cold panic, tight and free.

Spinning round, a blur of grey,

as someone else just walked away.

The world outside, a smeared design,

my back pressed hard against the pane.

No forward motion, just a turn,

a lesson I don't want to learn.

Just moving through, to the same place.

This endless loop, at its own pace.

Another push, a heavy groan.

I step out, feeling more alone.
