Stuck Halfway

Metal teeth caught, stubborn grind,

a lazy fight, a paused bind.

Dragging denim in reluctant fight,

halfway stuck, the world’s not right.

The slider hangs like time suspended,

fabric caught, progress ended.

I tug and pry, the stubborn seam,

a frozen moment trapped in dream.

This small refusal, plain and tight,

blocks my step into the light.
