The Unsteady Flip

Silver edge spins in the air,

caught in draft, caught unaware.

Tossed between the choice and chance,

a pause that makes the silence dance.

Teetering on the windowsill’s breath,

a frozen moment, near to death.

Between the yes and maybe no,

a weightless fear too soft to show.

The coin wavers, caught by breeze,

a trembling slip, a quiet tease.

Decision lost in fragile grip,

a world balanced on a coin’s flip.
