I was telling her how much the casket would cost,

then the bars on the screen were suddenly lost.


I spoke to the air for a mile or two,

about the lilies and the suit that was blue.


The dashboard glowed with a 'Call Failed' sign,

cutting the throat of the whole damn line.


The valley is deep and the signal is weak,

leaving the best words for no one to speak.
