Sitting in class, the chalkboard alive,
my teacher spoke wisdom, a pedestal high.
Yet one rainy afternoon, our worlds did collide,
when their voice cracked with truth, and I saw them cry.
Behind all the lessons, the grades, and the lore,
was a heart laid bare, struggling deep with its weight.
I learned in that moment, they too felt unsure,
a fragile reflection of human estate.
I thought of the stories we carry each day,
the burdens we shoulder, the doubts that we bear.
In the glow of the classroom, we’re all lost in gray,
disguised in our roles, but each one must wear care.
