(APRIL'S) FOOLS LOVE.

Oh- it was beautiful

The perfect Romance

We'd speak the hours into disappearance,

let silence rest between us

like something sacred,

then pull closer,

closer still,

until even time forgets us.

I should have known ,,

You slipped away

Quick

Like seasons changing

While i still called it summer

It was happening

I should have known

And now

I will meet you at the graveyard

Where you lay down,

where you stay now

Faced up, cold heart,

no longer by my side now

Wish we were together,

I should have known

How shall I do, to live anew?

 To let April fall,

without carrying your shadow,

into my spring?

I should have known,

April was never ours to keep,

it was just April,

and we, merely foolish.
