Lukewarm

With crusty shut eyes

Windows open I wake

From sickeningly sweet dreams

Of you next to me

Wind blows reminding me

Of all things promised

And all unspoken

Words discarded

Within my mind

Memories swirl

Wind tickles my skin

And twirls around my heart

Its cool breeze collides

With the warm ache

Of my feeling

And fades anon

I’m a freelance artist with 3 years of experience, and I create visual artwork that can work as an extension of written poetry. I’d love to create something for one of your poems — perhaps an illustration for a particular stanza, a full poem visual, or a scene inspired by its meaning. We can start with a small paid commission rather than a large project, and you can decide afterward if you'd like to continue. If you're interested, I’d love to share my portfolio. Hey there! I’m a huge fan of your poems. The rhythm and themes in your stanzas have incredible visual energy. I offer commissioned artwork specifically for poets, including per stanza illustrations and full visual flow art. If you're open to seeing your poetry adapted into art, let’s chat! Reach me on Discord (chloemadisonn) or Instagram (elsaa.uwu).
