Cracked Ground

A single bloom breaks the stone,

a fragile voice in a harsh tone.

Through gray grit, it pushes high,

a green rebellion against the sky.

In the city’s choke, where life feels tight,

a stubborn growth claims its right.

It teaches me to dig and fight,

to find my way through the endless night.
