Between Here and There

The crack where dust collects like whispered lies,

presses tight, this gap holds sleepless sighs.

A sock abandoned, lost in the night,

a crumpled note drips from memory's height.

I reach in, fingers brushing against the wall,

scraps of a past I still can’t recall.

Unraveled stories lie tangled and grey,

between my dreams and the dawn’s harsh display.
