Driving home through the gray I navigate slow

Driving home through the gray, I navigate slow,

headlights beam wide, but nothing to show.

The fog swirls and thickens, a cloak of confusion,

each mile feels longer, a silent delusion.

What was once clear has gone soft and blurred,

thoughts tumble and falter,

a quiet absurd.

In the hush, I ache for the vision now veiled,

seeking clarity lost, where the shadows have trailed.
