Searching for Clarity

Late at night, the screen starts to glow,

fingers trembling, my fears begin to flow.

Fatigue wrapped tight in its digital thread,

a rabbit hole leads to the things I dread.

I scroll through lists, symptoms unfold,

darkening thoughts that feel all too bold.

What was a whisper now screams in my mind,

regret floods the room, a truth I can't find.

The flickering light paints shadows of dread,

my pulse races faster, a heart full of lead.

The search for answers became a cruel game,

yet curiosity taunts me, never the same.
