Green with Discontent

Scrolling through pixels, the spark ignites,

a classmate’s cruise, the ocean's delights.

My cup sits half-full, cold on the shelf,

while they sip on sunshine, I envy myself.

Unraveled threads of a life that seems grand,

I grip my own fate with a trembling hand.

The longing creeps in, its shadowy dance,

leaving me tangled in echoes of chance.
