The Weight of Belief

You told me you believed, and my heart caught its breath,

like a candle flickering, defying the death.

In moments of darkness, where shadows loom large,

your faith was the compass, a clear, steady charge.

Each word you spoke wrapped around my doubt tight,

a lifeline in waters where I feared to fight.

Yet in that soft moment, the world felt so grand,

being believed, I learned, is to finally stand.
