Takeout menu Still glossy

Takeout menu. Still glossy.

Folded in thirds like it's waiting

to be useful. Pad Thai,

spring rolls, the lunch combo

with a little star beside it.

The restaurant closed during COVID.

The menu doesn't know.

I found it in the junk drawer

between a dead charger

and a rubber band ball

nobody finished.

I put it in the keep bag.

Not the trash bag. The keep bag.

Advertising a place

that can't deliver anymore.

I'm moving it to the new apartment

where it'll fit right in.
