Curve of Age

Evening light spills soft,

caught in the slow curve of my back.

Reflection shows a quiet confession—

a stoop I didn’t invite,

a bend shaped by years,

silent and unspoken.

The twinge today was a whisper,

a reminder held deep,

where time bends quietly

and bones remember more than I do.
