No

I saw the house on the corner for sale,

the one with the porch and the white wooden rail.

I cried when we lost it, I prayed for the key,

but the mold in the basement was all I’d have see.

And you, who I wanted with every deep breath,

the one I believed in through life and through death,

your name’s in the paper, a theft and a lie,

I’m glad that my prayers didn't reach to the sky.

The wind hits the hole in my tooth like a knife,

thank God for the things that stayed out of my life.
