The screen glows with a sale on birch wood slats,

adjustable heights for a growing body.


I have to click 'no longer relevant'

and watch the pixels refresh

to a blank, white box.


In the sink, the last vitamin

sits in a puddle of yesterday’s water,

half-melted and turning the ceramic

a bruised, medicinal orange.
