Missing Frames

A man in a green coat waved at the light.

He said, Good to see you again,

and I nodded like I knew the script.

But there is a hole in the reel

between the third drink and the front door.

I found a receipt for the Crow's Nest.

11:42 PM. Two whiskies I don't remember buying.

Just the white space between streetlights

and the cold walk home

that isn't there.
