33 RPM Without the Sound

It was three dollars and had a cat

on the front, wearing a hat.

I don't even have a needle or a belt,

just the way the heavy weight felt.

It slid from the sleeve and hit the rug,

a sound like a heavy, hollow chug.

There’s a lightning bolt across side B,

a scratch that means it’s just for me.
