I had the texts I laid them out—the dates

I had the texts. I laid them out—the dates,

the order clean. I watched it land on them.

The argument went quiet. Both of us straight-

faced after. Read. No answer. The problem

now is four days of nothing under

my last message. I was right. The word

just sitting there. I've been right about the order,

right about the content, right about what occurred

and when. I have the record. I could prove it.

Their face going still.

That's what I keep going over.
