Drawer Logic

The room has a smell like a citrusy bleach,

and everything's just slightly out of my reach.

I forgot my own charger, I'm stuck in the dark,

so I opened the drawer for a bit of a spark.

The Bible is black and the spine has a crack,

with a phone number scribbled right there in the back.

The gold-leafed edges are stuck with the heat,

like a heart that has finally run out of beat.
