XI

Part of Hector in the Garden

And a breastplate, made of daisies,

      Closely fitting, leaf by leaf;

      Periwinkles interlaced,

      Drawn for belt about the waist;

While the brown bees, humming praises,

      Shot their arrows round the chief.
