XXIII

Part of Marenghi

And in the moonless nights, when the dun ocean

Heaved underneath wide heaven, star-impearled,

Starting from dreams...

Communed with the immeasurable world;

And felt his life beyond his limbs dilated,

Till his mind grew like that it contemplated.
