Joyful Movement

In the park, sunlight cuts through leaves,

   children twirl, limbs flailing like

windmills in a storm, laughter erupts,

   chaos painted with joy,

they don’t care how it looks,

just an explosion of moving, terrible grace—

each turn a declaration of delight,

here they are, pure in their step,

   creating noise, not rhythm,

   arms swinging wide, joy uncontained,

   a witness to their bliss,

   clumsy, yet beautiful, unrestrained.
