Filtered Light

At the café window, I stare through the grime,

watching how sunlight bends, fighting for time.

The beams twist and turn, through the smudges they wade,

shadows whisper softly, where colors cascade.

What beauty is hidden behind all that dust,

a world yearning for clarity, lost in the rust?

Each glimmer a story, a moment caught tight,

the way we all flicker, just searching for light.
