Living Reminders

Sunlight dances over stones, bright and warm,

Where wildflowers rise, defying the norm.

In the daylight, the silence feels heavy yet sweet,

As I walk through the memories, tangled beneath my feet.

Gravestones stand watch like old friends long past,

Their stories engraved in a light that won’t last.

Yet beauty persists in the cracks where they lie,

A reminder of life in the space of goodbye.
