Stubborn Roads

I read the signs, saw the warnings in red,

Yet still I pressed on, with blind faith instead.

Each fork in the road, a decision to make,

The maps I once trusted now twist and shake.

The paths that I chose, they veered off the trail,

With every misstep, I could feel myself pale.

Yet stubbornness cradles me, comforts my fall,

As I wander through choices that echo my call.
