In a crowded room I feel so unseen

In a crowded room, I feel so unseen,

every word like a whisper lost in the sheen.

Thoughts tumble like leaves, caught in the breeze,

while I slip through the cracks, begging for ease.

A conversation unfolds, but I’m only a ghost,

a flicker of memory, a flickering host.

The curtains hang heavy, secrets they hold,

while I ponder my presence, growing so cold.

To blend into shadows, to fade without trace,

yet I don’t want to die, just escape this place.

In the silence of wanting, the heart starts to sigh,

and I dream of a world where I can just fly.
