Overstuffed and Unwieldy

A mountain of fabric, colors entwined,
each piece a reminder, a thought poorly timed.
The hamper overflows, a chaotic display,
mundane woven stories, lost in the fray.
A crumpled shirt holds laughter from days long past,
while socks paired in silence, a memory cast.
Fingers sift through the weight of it all,
shadows of moments too small to recall.
In this cluttered pile, I wrestle and fold,
a tapestry of life, the tender, the bold.
The mundane speaks volumes, tangled like fate,
my heart in these fibers, the silence it creates.
