The orange cones forced me right

The orange cones forced me right,

two blocks over from where I live now.

I slowed down past the brick facade

of the place with the leaky radiator.

There’s a cat in the window now,

batting at a moth.

I can still see the edge of the tape

stuck to the corner of the wood,

holding onto a ghost of a flyer

I forgot to finish peeling.
