Joyful Disaster

Tonight I let loose, unfiltered, unplanned,

hands flailing wildly, I’m a joyful mess,

bodies collide, laughter breaking like sand,

each step a twist, a joyous excess.

At the wedding, the music spins my heart round,

a splash of bright colors spills on the floor,

I trip over rhythms, but oh, I am found,

every misstep a reason to dance more.

With every wrong move, I’m more alive here,

no one’s judging, just laughter like rain,

let’s embrace the awkward, the silly, the cheer,

a moment of bliss wrapped in sweet, clumsy pain.
