Words Left Unsaid

I scroll through our memories, fingers slip,

a name on the screen, it pulls like a thread.

Each moment unspoken, a quiet eclipse,

your laughter a ghost, and I wish I had said.

The café table haunts, where light used to play,

conversations flowed, like rivers alive.

Now silence sits heavy, a price we both pay,

my heart’s full of apologies that never arrive.

The clock ticks louder, this time slipping past,

every tick whispers, a chance lost to speak.

I carry your name like a weight that won't last,

but courage escapes me, and I just feel weak.
