The train lurches, creaks, a heart on the rise,
metallic clank pulling me toward the skies.
Stomach knots tight as we peak at the top,
a moment suspended—will the thrill ever stop?
Eyes wide with fear, a scream caught in my throat,
like a kite fighting wind, now I feel like a boat.
This weight of the world drops straight into dreams,
just me and the clouds, bursting at the seams.
But just then, that dip, and we soar down the path,
hands held out wide, lost in the aftermath.
The thrill rushes in, anxiety gives way,
that moment before—will I jump or just sway?
