Bending Under Pressure

An office drawer, cluttered and worn,

a paperclip bends like patience, forlorn.

In the chaos of tasks, it holds secrets tight,

as laughter spills over like ink in the night.

You saved me today, with a small silver twist,

each bend whispers wisdom, a touch I can’t miss.

A tiny device, yet it holds so much weight,

bound by what matters, it won’t hesitate.

So here’s to the moments of small, simple grace,

when life feels chaotic, I can find my own place.

With laughter, with bending, in functions entwined,

there's beauty in paperclips, in the mess of the mind.
