A flash of blue spins past my gaze

A flash of blue spins past my gaze,

a child on a bicycle, carefree in a daze,

echoes of laughter swirl through the air,

reminding me of moments that felt so rare.

I see my younger self, wobbly and wild,

freedom embodied, that eager child,

pedaling fast, the wind stinging my face,

a blur of bright colors, heart racing in place.

Every push of the pedal, a leap into flight,

dancing with danger beneath the sunlight,

a simple adventure, a world to explore,

these fleeting rides always left me wanting more.
