Chlorine & Metal

Tap runs slow.

A dull taste, then

a chemical bite.

It doesn't sit right.

The Budapest hotel,

plastic cup, street light,

glowed damp beside the bed.

Metallic tang, unsaid.

That water held a history,

a foreign grit.

This one, just clean, won't fit.
