Unseen Posture

The dark glass shows it.

A slight slump.

Shoulder blades press

the chair back.


One leg tucked under,

gone numb.

Hand rests on the gut,

fingers splayed, at peace.


No one to witness this lean.

Just the body settling,

finding its heavy ease.
