Stain's Spread

The bag sat there,

brown, then dark.

A quiet tear,

a spreading mark.

Grease pushed through,

a map of sorts.

Old, cold stew,

lost thoughts, broken ports.

It made paper thin,

almost clear.

What once was in,

now just a fear.
