Stuck Moments

The kitchen drawer, it won't open wide,

my fingers tugging at secrets inside.

It creaks and groans, a stubborn refrain,

as I think of the things that drive me insane.

Life’s like this drawer, some days it won’t budge,

stuck in the past, a lingering grudge.

I pull with frustration, my patience wears thin,

a battle with time that I never can win.
