The Weight of a Letter

In a world of screens, I took pen to page,

a handwritten letter, a fleeting sage.

The ink smudged, memories pouring through lines,

a moment held close, where connection defines.

This might be the last time I reach out to you,

the weight of the words, both tender and true.

As I seal up the envelope, feel the heart thrum,

I wonder if silence will follow the hum.
