Wings and Whispers

I hung a birdfeeder, memories in the air,
like laughter of summers that once used to share.
Red cardinals flit in, a flash against green,
while silence hums softly, a ghost in between.
Windows frame moments, the world outside sighs,
a tapestry of feathers and delicate cries.
Each visit a whisper, a moment of grace,
filled with the echoes of a familiar face.
