Lingering Absence

A sweater left draped, still warm with their scent,

each thread carries whispers of moments well-spent.

I breathe in the fabric, the echoes they left,

a ghost of their presence, a haunting theft.

The air holds their laughter, now distant and thin,

a reminder that absence can linger within.

Every inhale a memory, soft as a sigh,

yet shadows still linger, long after goodbye.
