Electric Touch

Folding laundry, I pull my sweater off,

a sharp jolt, like sparks in the air,

reminds me of summer nights,

hands brushing against skin,

a moment that crackles with intent—

the unexpected thrill of connection.

These tiny zaps, reminders

of how even the mundane can ignite

a memory, how touch can linger,

unraveled threads of thought

reaching across the distance—

just a breath away from the warmth of skin.
