The Architecture of Innocence

Crayon scribbles breathe life into dreams,

where houses lean left, bursting at the seams.

A chimney so crooked, it defies all the laws,

four windows wide open, with no need for flaws.

I watch her paint pictures of joy on the page,

innocence trapped in a youthful stage.

Each crooked line tells a story unique,

architecture of wonder that words cannot speak.
