I was trying to reset something else,

a forgotten utility account.

The familiar prompt appeared:

Username. Password.

And then it was there.

Not searched for, not recalled.

Just presented.

The sequence of letters and numbers

for the site that vanished.

The one with the old avatar.

The one that cost me nothing.

And now costs nothing more.

It sits, perfectly formed,

a key to a locked room

that burned down.
