Fragmented Reminders

In an attic box, where memories lay,

a mismatched collection, forgotten display.

Buttons and threads, each one a small clue,

tales of a woman, yet meaning askew.

An iridescent button, cracked from the years,

whispers of laughter, and unspoken fears.

She kept every piece, though they meant nothing much,

fragments of life, touched by her gentle touch.
