Hidden Hazards

Slammed into a pothole, a jolt of regret,

my coffee spills, a mess I can’t forget.

Roads like riddles, so rough and unfair,

remind me how quickly we stumble and swear.

Each bump is a reminder of paths we don’t choose,

where dreams take detours, and life’s easy to lose.

Rattled thoughts spill like the liquid I chase,

a reminder that sometimes, we’re lost in the race.

I grip the wheel tight, feel the weight in my chest,

this journey is shaky, not one I invest.

A pothole, a moment, a life interrupted,

cracked asphalt beneath, every dream disrupted.
