Words Unsaid

We talked about nothing, as we often did,

the laugh in your eyes, a light that hid.

Then silence poured in, heavy like stone,

words left unspoken, I face them alone.

I found your text, its pixels now dim,

a lifeline that fades on the edge of the brim.

In fading snapshots, your voice starts to fray,

our last conversation still haunts me today.
