A Bad Choice

Flicked through old photos, a cringing delight,

there it was—hair defying all laws of sight.

Frizzed and unruly, a fro atop my head,

all hopes for beauty, buried, not fed.

Why did I choose such a wretched old cut?

Each strand a reminder, lost chances I gut.

Childhood's misfortune, a tale etched in style,

a bad haircut story that lingers awhile.
