Bitten Truths

Thoughts race like wildfires, flickering fast,

biting my tongue, a reminder—at last.

The metal taste lingers, sharp and alive,

each drop of blood whispers, struggles to thrive.

I chew on reflections, turn them to paste,

and swallow my fears, but still, they don't waste.

What’s unsaid burns bright, weaving through fate,

a tapestry of words that beg for escape.

Yet here in this stillness, I find what’s true,

in the tangle of silence, my thoughts break through.
